Premier’s Award for Agri-Food Innovation Excellence

On June 17, 2011 it was announced that Taste of Nature won a Premier’s Award for Agri-Food Innovation Excellence. This award was designed by the provincial government in 2006 to recognize examples of innovation by farmers in the running of their businesses and to encourage even greater innovation across the province’s agri-food sector for the future. Taste of Nature was the only non-farm business to win a Premier’s award for the recently launched Go Ontario! bar that sources all ingredients local, Ontario farms. The Go Ontario! bar is an excellent example of local farmers working closely with Taste of Nature to give consumers great tasting, local choices.

Alive Awards of Excellence

Taste of Nature’s organic food bars were honoured Gold & Silver Alive Awards of Excellence at the recent annual Canadian Health Food Association (CHFA) Trade Show on October 23rd, 2010 in Toronto. Taste of Nature won Gold for Consumers Choice product of the year and Silver medal for the Retailers Choice, Organic category.

Moreover, it has won the 4th place at the Retailers Choice Honorable Mention.

The Alive Awards of Excellence recognize and support excellence and innovation in the natural health industry, and the competition is open to all suppliers of natural health products in Canada. Natural health retailers vote on their favourite products in a variety of categories and top products are awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze standings in each category. The Taste of Nature team thank all the retailers and consumers for their continued support!

One of Taste of Nature best bars, the California Almond Valley bar has won the 2011 LIVERight Award in the category of “Best Lunchbox” item!
