Non-GMO

Just like we are dedicated to organics, Taste of Nature is also dedicated to using only non–GMO ingredients. In our view, Genetically Modified Organisms have no business in our world's food chain.

What does GMO mean? Genetically Modified Organism is the most commonly used term referring to the genetic engineering of organisms, including food. It is a radical new technology that forces genetic information across the protective species barrier in an unnatural way, to result in new organisms that have sought–after features.

Labeling of foods containing GMOs is not yet mandatory in Canada, so consumers should be actively looking for companies that do label their foods as non–GMO, such as Taste of Nature bars.
